Thoughts for the Month

Do we make the Church in the image of our sinful nature in an effort to justify ourselves as individuals, or do we make the Church in the image a submissive bride pleasing to Jesus' will, and reflecting that will as it is stated in the Bible?

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world - the cravings of the sinful man, the lust of his eyes, and the boasting of what he has and does - comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. - 1 John 2: 15-17

  • Ash burning service to do again next year.
  • Reaching out to the 38% unchurched in the community with worship that would benefit them.
  • A permanent strip on bottom of chuch sign for permanent information.
  • Possible disbanding of the greeters due to redundancy.
  • We are looking for people called to serve this ministry in the 2010-2011 year. Please contact Laura Robinson or any other worship team member if you feel called.

Worship is done by the people of faith, believers, & each time the faithful gather for worship they should be transformed again into the Body, moved to deeper levels of faith..........

Colossians 3:16-17:  Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach & council each other with all the wisdom He gives. Sing psalms & hymns & spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
