            Jesus, our Lord and Teacher, open our hearts so that hearing we may understand and understanding, we may live according to Your Word.  Fill us with grace so that we may shine as clear and strong witnesses of Your gospel. Amen.

 

Call to Worship:                                                             Liturgist: Janet Haacker

Leader:           O God, You care for us patiently and passionately, and You                                      walk beside us as we seek to follow Your Way.

People:          Your Spirit helps us to negotiate the changes we need                                          to make, to grow.

Leader:           Jesus, You show us how to live faithfully and to keep moving                                  forward.

People:          You free us from every burden we carry or create.

Leader:           Holy Spirit, You heal our hearts, and empower us to live in                                        newness of life.

People:          Thank You Lord, for all the gifts that bless our lives.  We                           will use them for Your glory.

            O God, thank You for loving us more deeply than we can understand.  Forgive us for the times we fall short of living Your way.  Forgive us for the times when good news and good will fails to shine in us.  Restore us to our places in the center of your will, through the Spirit of Christ.  Amen.

            Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.  For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.  Amen.

ADULT SS CLASS
